At the outset of 2009, Rawasi dynamic team acted swiftly to capitalize on the potential opportunities which emerged in the region as a result of the Global Financial Crisis.

Rawasi Executive Team Bios

Essam Khalifa Al-Nisf

Essam is the General Manager of Rawasi with a special focus in wealth management and marketing and financial restructuring with an experience of 25 years.

Prior to joining Rawasi, Essam occupied many senior positions including; BOD of Ritaje Investment Company , Mawaseem for haje and umra, Imtiaz Investment Fund, Managing Director of Al Med Real estate company, Assistance General Manger for marketing and clients relations, Al Imtiaz Investment Company, and Co-founder and member of senior management of Al-Ritaj Investment Company KSCC with a paid –up capital of KD25 million.

Essam also established and managed the Private Banking Department and acted as the Financing Manager of the Real Estate Department of Al-Dar Investment Company KSC, served at the Private Banking Department of Kuwait Finance House as a Private Portfolio Manager for 11 years dealing with the high net-worth individuals and corporate clients with over KD 100 million in net assets. Essam hods a B.Sc. Banking Science - Banking Studies Institute, Kuwait.

Osama Fahad Al Rashed

Osama has over fifteen years of extensive experience in real estate, project management, finance, and investment, Osama is directly in charge of the real estate activities of Rawasi.

Osama’s previous tenures include senior positions like Chairman & Managing Director of KGL Real Estate Company; Board Member, Vice Chairman of the Establishment Committee for Hajer Tower Real Estate Company; Vice Chairman of Al-Lawozi Real Estate Company, Bahrain; Head of the Establishment Committee for Al-Maqam Real Estate Company; Board member for Al-Markaz Real Estate Fund; Board member for Amlak Real Estate Service Company; and Deputy CEO of the Real Estate Investment for The Commercial Real Estate Company.

Osama received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from The Eastern Washington University, U.S.A.

Hussein Ismail

Hussein has over twenty years of experience in private equities, corporate finance, and assurance and advisory services with regional reputable firms, Hussein mastered high professional skills in valuating, structuring investment, negotiating private equity deals, both sell and purchase sides ; formulating business strategies and related financial and operational structures. Hussein was a Management Consultant Service Manager with Ernst & Young and BDO Hussein is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Ahmed El Gharbawi

Ahmed has an extensive experience in the areas of portfolio restructuring, private equity investment, evaluation, and other strategic areas in financial management. Throughout his career, Ahmed occupied many positions in prominent institutions including Al Imtiaz Investment Co. – Kuwait as Assistant General Manager – Head of Investment Restructuring Group in, The Sultan Center Co. (TSC) – Kuwait as Senior Project Manager, in addition to Ernst & Young – Kuwait and Delliotte & Touche Int’l – Cairo. Ahmed holds an MBA from Manchester Business School - University of Manchester - United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.COM) from Zagazig University – Egypt.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT REQUIRED

Job Description:

For RAWASI subsidiary company a Senior Accountant required for a leading Real Estate company in Saudi Arabia. Candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience most preferable in Real Estate companies. Should be able to handle the entire accounting activities independently up to finalization of accounts and, financial statements, payable, receivable, budget, invoicing, reconciliation, profit & loss, balance sheets, cash flaw.

Responsibilities & Accountability:

  • Prepare periodic financial reports as per the finance Director instructions.
  • Supervise, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to procedural standards.
  • Supervise and reconcile sub-ledger reports on monthly basis in addition to creating the final trial balance.
  • Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and control.
  • Review and approve payment vouchers & journal entries
  • Supervise, update and maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts to reflect the transaction activities.
  • Supervise and ensure proper recording and accuracy of all transactions.
  • Review and validate payroll summary in coordination with the relevant members.
  • Assist external auditors in ensuring that audits are completed timely through collaborating and providing required data.
  • Prepare the managements and accounts reports.
  • Educational & Competencies Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
